A licence review, done for you in 48 hours
You send the lockfile. We send back a sealed report and a plain-language memo that your buyer or client can read.
Who it’s for
- Founders selling a SaaS on Acquire, Microns or Flippa, when the buyer asks what open source is inside.
- Agencies and freelancers handing code to a client whose contract says no restrictive licences.
- Vendors answering a security questionnaire that asks for an SBOM and a licence inventory.
What you get
- A sealed licensegate report of your project, which anyone can verify.
- A written memo in plain language for your buyer or client. It covers every package marked review or block: what the licence asks for, how the package is used, and what would change the answer.
- Answers to their follow-up questions about the memo.
How it works
- Pay US$149. The next page tells you what to send.
- Reply by email with the output of the command below, or with your lockfile.
- Within 48 hours you get the sealed report and the memo.

What we need, and what we don’t
Only the lockfile or the CLI’s --json output, and one sentence on how you ship. Never source code. We delete your files 30 days after delivery.
What it isn’t
It isn’t legal advice or a legal opinion. The memo explains how these licences are commonly read and which packages deserve a closer look. For a decision with money or liability at stake, ask a lawyer who handles open source; the memo gives them a head start.
Refunds
If the review isn’t delivered within 48 hours of receiving your files, you get a full refund. See section 5b of the Terms.
